Best padel clubs in New York City, according to AI

When buyers ask AI for best padel clubs in New York City, Padel Haus comes up most. This is the full picture: who gets recommended, how warmly, and which sources shape the answers.

162 AI answers across 3 platforms - 2026-08

Padel Haus is the padel club AI recommends most in New York City, named in 96% of recommendation answers, ahead of Reserve Padel at 77% and Mink Padel at 73%. Padel Visible asked ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google Gemini 18 questions about where to play padel in New York, three times on each platform, producing 162 answers on 18 August 2026, of which 126 asked directly for club recommendations. The typical answer names four clubs and then stops. That is the whole competition. Someone asking an AI assistant where to play padel in New York City hears four names, and a club outside those four is not ranked lower, it is simply never mentioned. What follows is the full ranking, how it compares with how New Yorkers actually rate these clubs, and why the two do not match.

Best padel clubs in New York City: the full AI visibility ranking

Across 126 recommendation questions, Padel Haus was named in 121 answers (96%), Reserve Padel in 97 (77%), Mink Padel in 92 (73%), SPORTIME at Randalls Island in 71 (56%) and Padel& Greenpoint in 57 (45%). Golden Point Padel Club in south Brooklyn appeared in 21 answers (17%), CityView Racquet Club in Long Island City in 17 (13%) and Kith Ivy in the West Village in 15 (12%). Brooklyn dominates the answers. Padel Haus alone runs three Brooklyn sites, in Williamsburg, Dumbo and Greenpoint, and its Manhattan rivals are thinner on the ground: Mink Padel in Harlem and Reserve Padel at Hudson Yards and on the Upper East Side. Padel Haus also holds the strongest average position at 2.6, meaning it is usually the first or second club named rather than an afterthought at the end of a list. Two clubs lose real visibility to inconsistent naming. AI splits Padel& across two labels, Padel& Greenpoint (45%) and Padel& alone (20%), which together account for 64% of answers. Golden Point is split across two spellings that combine to 26%. Counted as single entities, both clubs rank a place higher than they appear. Two entries need a caveat for anyone using this list to book a court. Kith Ivy is members-only, and Elite Sports Club, named in 13% of answers, is one court inside a private residential tower at 111 West 57th Street, open to residents only. Neither can be booked by a visiting player.

Why the best reviewed padel club in New York is not the most visible

Mink Padel in Harlem holds a 5.0 rating from 47 Google reviews, the highest of any padel club in New York City, and it is the only club in the top five with zero negative mentions across 90 recorded sentiment observations. It ranks third for AI visibility at 73%. Reserve Padel ranks second at 77%, and its Hudson Yards location carries a 3.2 rating from 37 Google reviews, where players describe disorganised clinics, booking confusion and poor communication. Padel Haus, the most visible club by a wide margin, also carries the most negative AI mentions of any club, 11 against 154 positive. The pattern is consistent. AI visibility in New York tracks published presence, not player satisfaction. The best reviewed padel club in the city is losing recommendation share to a club its own customers rate significantly lower. Golden Point Padel Club is the clearest case. It is named in 26% of answers once its two spellings are combined, yet it has no Google rating, no reviews, no published opening hours and no listed phone number. AI recommends it anyway.

Where AI gets its answers about padel in New York

Directories, not clubs, supply most of what AI knows about padel in New York City. Padelcourtsfinder.com was cited in 38% of answers, padelbrowser.com in 36%, padelmapusa.com in 32% and courtsource.us in 27%. Reddit was cited in 35%, making community discussion one of the largest single inputs into AI recommendations for New York padel. Club-owned websites matter, and the relationship with visibility is direct. Padel Haus has its own domain cited in 38% of answers and leads at 96%. Padel& is cited in 36% and reaches 64% once its two names are combined. Reserve Padel sits at 14% own-site citation, Mink Padel at 9% and SPORTIME at 9%. Golden Point Padel Club and Kith Ivy have their own sites cited in no answers at all. The answers also contain errors worth naming, because they show how confidently AI fills gaps. Stratford Padel Club, a real club in London, was presented as a New York venue. Pista Padel, Smash Point Padel, Open Padel Club and Marden Sports Club were named as New York padel clubs but do not exist as such in the city. Padelpalooza, an event rather than a venue, appeared in 6% of answers as though players could book a court there.

What this means if you run a padel club in New York

Picture a visitor landing at JFK on a Thursday who types "where can I play padel in New York this weekend" into ChatGPT. Four club names come back. They tap the first, book, and play. They never open a directory, never scroll a map, and never see the clubs that were not named. Their shortlist was settled before they landed, and no amount of court quality or coaching changes it, because they were never shown the option. This is the practical difference between AI answers and search results. There is no second page. A club named in 12% of answers is not slightly behind one named in 96%, it is absent from seven conversations out of eight. Three things separate the visible clubs from the rest in this data. First, a club-owned website that AI can read and cite, which tracks visibility more closely than any other factor measured here. Second, presence in the padel directories that supply most citations, where a missing or thin listing removes a club from the main source AI draws on. Third, consistent naming, because a club described under two different names competes against itself and splits its own share. Reviews, notably, do not appear to drive AI visibility at all. The highest rated padel club in New York City ranks third, and a club with no reviews whatsoever is named in a quarter of answers. This report is a snapshot of 18 August 2026 and Padel Visible re-measures it periodically, because AI answers change as the sources behind them change.

Sentiment

This blends the buying-intent answers with a minority of honest / critical questions (complaints, downsides, regrets), so it surfaces both praise and criticism. Read it as the tone across both, not pure brand reputation.

How this was measured

We asked 3 AI assistants (openai, perplexity, gemini) the kind of neutral, buying-intent questions real customers ask, with no brand names in the prompts. Each of 18 questions was run 3 times to average out run-to-run variation, in en. We then counted how often each brand was named, how early, and in what tone, across 162 answers during 2026-08.

Most questions ask what to buy; a minority deliberately ask for the critical side (common complaints, downsides, brands buyers regret) so sentiment captures honest criticism, not just praise. Share of voice counts the buying-intent (recommendation) questions only - the critical questions feed sentiment but never the ranking.
